Fishing Associations:

International Game Fish Association
- There are plenty of benefits to joining the International Game Fish Association that will introduce you to the experience of sport fishing, and educate you with fishing books on how to fly fish like an expert. For instance, you'll receive the World Record Game Fishes Book, with over 350 pages of saltwater, freshwater and flyrod records, angling rules, state record program, feature articles, etc. You'll receive a subscription to International Angler publication and an embroidered jacket emblem, and a free entry to Fishing Hall of Fame & Museum. There's nothing more important than discounts on charters, lodges, clothing, and sport fishing limited edition prints.

Join the United Fishing Association Today- The United Fishing Association was founded to further the interests of sport fishing throughout the United States. Membership is available to anglers in all 50 states for the low annual fee of just $20. UFA is the only all-encompassing organization designed to unify and strengthen the sport fishing community. We won't teach you how to flyfish, but we'll help promote your favorite pastime.

Florida Coastal Conservation Association - What you get as an CCA Florida Member... Your membership includes CCA Florida's SeaWatch newsletter to keep you up-to-date on Florida's fishery and conservation issues. Additionally you'll receive a subscription to the award winning TIDE magazine with features on Florida's inshore and offshore fishing experts.

Recreational Fishing Alliance- You can join the RFA and fight back for our fish stocks. The government, the industrial fishing fleets, and politicians and commercial fishing fleets are destroying the stock of fish in our nations rivers and lakes. We need you on our team. Please join today for $25 membership.

Billfish Foundation- They're big. They're beautiful. They're world travelers. AND THEY'RE IN TROUBLE. Their declining numbers tell us about the over-exploitation and worsening state of our seas. If billfish go, much more may follow. But each of us has the power to keep these majestic creatures swimming our seas forever - if we join together. During its first decade, The Billfish Foundation (TBF), and its members worldwide, brought sweeping change to the way our marine wildlife is regarded. Just ten years ago, many sport fishing experts saw billfish only as trophies, but now, more anglers than ever release for the future. Commercial longline fleets continue to threaten billfish populations. During the past three decades, they've reduced Atlantic billfish stocks to all-time lows. The Billfish Foundation wants longline boats to avoid areas where billfish are concentrated and release alive those caught.

The Gulf of Mexico Fishery Management Council- is one of eight regional Fishery Management Councils which were established by the Fishery Conservation and Management Act in 1976. The Council prepares fishery plans which are designed to manage fishery resources from where state waters end out to the 200-mile limit of the Gulf of Mexico.
